SKNRY Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the SKNRY mobile application and related services operated by SKNRY, Inc. ("SKNRY", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using SKNRY, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SKNRY.

By using the app, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18
  • You can form a binding agreement
  • Information you provide is accurate and current

3. What SKNRY Provides

SKNRY is a skincare and treatment tracking application that may include:

  • Face scan analysis
  • Skincare routine tracking
  • Treatment logging and scheduling
  • Photo-based progress visualization and morphing
  • User-requested treatment or product appearance simulations
  • AI-powered summaries, product extraction, and chat assistance
  • Subscription-gated premium functionality

SKNRY is for personal informational and tracking use only.

4. No Medical Advice

SKNRY is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or diagnostic service.

The app and all AI-generated content are provided for general informational, educational, and self-tracking purposes only. They do not constitute:

  • Medical advice
  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment recommendations
  • Emergency guidance
  • Prescription or dosing instructions

You should seek qualified medical advice for symptoms, complications, allergies, worsening conditions, or any medical concerns.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Keeping your account information accurate

You may not:

  • Impersonate another person
  • Use the app unlawfully
  • Attempt to interfere with the app, its infrastructure, or another user's access
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse automated features beyond normal personal use

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or misuse the service.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including photos, chat messages, routines, treatment logs, and profile information.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you opt in to AI Improvement, you also allow SKNRY to use pseudonymized or de-identified photos, scan results, routines, product usage, treatment logs, and related skin-tracking data to research, develop, train, fine-tune, validate, benchmark, evaluate, improve, and commercialize SKNRY models, algorithms, datasets, and app features, including current and future systems for skin analysis, treatment-response modeling, product-response modeling, before/after comparison, appearance simulation, outcome estimation, personalization, quality control, safety evaluation, synthetic or derived data generation, and related research and product development. You can withdraw this optional permission in Privacy & Legal. Withdrawal stops future use but does not affect AI models, aggregate outputs, or evaluations already created before withdrawal.

If you opt in to Anonymous Aggregate Insights, you also allow SKNRY to use scan results, routines, product usage, treatment logs, profile attributes, and related skin-tracking data to create anonymous aggregate statistics, benchmark datasets, trend reports, research summaries, commercial analytics, and business insights. These outputs may be sold, licensed, or provided to clinics, skincare companies, product manufacturers, research organizations, and similar customers. Raw photos, individual records, row-level records, face geometry, face landmarks, biometric templates, biometric identifiers, direct account identifiers, free-text notes, exact treatment dates, clinic names, and injector names are not sold or shown to B2B customers.

You can withdraw AI Improvement and Anonymous Aggregate Insights permissions in Privacy & Legal. Withdrawal stops future use but does not affect processing or aggregate outputs already created before withdrawal.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content.

7. AI Features

SKNRY uses automated systems and third-party AI providers to analyze images, generate skincare routine suggestions, and personalize responses.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate
  • AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate
  • You must use independent judgment before acting on app suggestions
  • We may change or discontinue AI models or providers over time
  • AI features are educational and informational only and do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, predict or guarantee individual outcomes, or replace qualified professional advice
  • Treatment and product appearance simulations are illustrative only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, clinical predictions, or guarantees of any individual result

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription purchased through Apple, Google, or another applicable app-store or payment provider.

Where offered, eligible users may receive a one-week free trial. Eligibility is determined by the applicable app-store or payment provider. During the purchase flow, you will be shown the subscription plan, price, and billing period that will apply after the trial. Unless you cancel through the applicable provider before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to the selected paid subscription at the displayed price and renews according to the displayed billing period until canceled.

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the applicable app-store or payment provider under your account with that provider
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the applicable provider's rules
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the applicable provider's account settings
  • Except where required by law, refunds are handled by the applicable provider, not by us

Promotions, referral codes, and discounts may be subject to separate eligibility rules and may be modified or withdrawn where legally permitted.

9. Account Deletion

If you delete your account, access to the service may end immediately or after any processing period disclosed in the app.

Deletion may remove:

  • Profile data
  • Routines
  • Treatments
  • Messages
  • Photos
  • Scan analyses
  • Other account-linked content

Some information may be retained where required by law, for legitimate security purposes, or in limited backup systems for a short period.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use SKNRY to:

  • Upload unlawful, infringing, harassing, or abusive content
  • Violate another person's privacy or rights
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Probe, scan, or exploit vulnerabilities
  • Use the app to build competing datasets, models, or commercial services without written permission

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SKNRY at any time, including features, AI functionality, subscription offerings, or integrations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKNRY is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy
  • Availability
  • Clinical usefulness

We do not guarantee that:

  • AI results are accurate
  • Scan scores reflect actual medical conditions
  • Recommendations will produce any particular result
  • The app will always be secure or uninterrupted

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKNRY, Inc., SKNRY, and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of SKNRY.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to SKNRY will not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid us through the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or
  • USD

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SKNRY, Inc., SKNRY, and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the app
  • Your content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law or another person's rights

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or SKNRY will be subject to the courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
